Currency

The Bermuda dollar is the official currency of Bermuda and is pegged to the US dollar on a 1:1 basis. Both Bermudian dollar and US dollar currencies are used interchangeably and are equally acceptable at all establishments. Just make sure all your Bermudian dollars have been spent before leaving.

Tipping

Many hotels and restaurants in the Bermuda will add a mandatory service charge to the bill, therefore an additional tip is unnecessary. But if no service charge has been added, a 10-15% tip considered appropriate to reward good service.
